Childhood

Last week we went to our friends to share in a couple of birthdays. One of them was for Ella, she is the dd of our friends best friend. They came all the way from Alaska and Ella was excited to share her birthday with everyone.

Ambars Birthday

Today is my beautiful niece Ambar's 8th Birthday. My sister sent me this photo of her birthday party at a pottery shop. Looks like she had a fun time! I wish I had been there to share it with her.

Depth of Field

I am not sure if these photos are exactly what the challenge was looking for. I am still learning a lot about photography and what my camera can do.

As we were going around the lake today, I saw this building and the old tree in front of it and thought it would be a great photo. When I came home I changed it to black and white and liked it even more. At scrapbook.com I am in a photo group with weekly challenges, I hope this photo is OK for challenge #2.

Summer

Summer has begun! Although it was a little overcast and rainy today we had a good time out on the lake. I have not been out on the boat the 3 years Mark has had it so it was nice to go out today and watch Mark and Heather fishing. Mark caught 4 keepers, and Heather got several bites. Hopefully we can go out again and Heather can catch some fish!
